Paul Pierce netted a team-high 27 points Sunday night, as the Boston Celtics defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 92-86 to take a 3-2 series lead in the NBA Finals. The Celtics were a 2-point favorite in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (189.5). Kevin Garnett added 18 points and 10 rebounds for Boston and Rajon Rondo chipped in with 18 points and eight assists. Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 38 points for the Lakers and Pau Gasol had 12 points and 12 rebounds. |
