Oilers edge Avs in OT

Ryan Whitney scored at 3:50 of overtime to give the Edmonton Oilers a 5-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night.

Edmonton won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the nine goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Shawn Horcoff, Dustin Penner, Mike Comrie, and Andrew Cogliano tallied for the Oilers.

Matt Duchene, Ryan O’Reilly, Marek Svatos, and Matt Hendricks scored for the Avalanche.
